Saturday!

Ah, so much has happened since we last spoke, devoted readers! I’ll just catch you up on my yesturday, starting at 5 p.m. So I was at Ally’s, and we waited for Ash to come. And then the pizza guy came, and Ally’s mom told us it was Ash, so Ally shouts out “Come in, Tommy’s waiting for you!” and the pizza guy luckily didn’t hear us. So then Ash decided to arrive half-an-hour LATE and then we ate Hawaiian pizza. And then Ally’s mom told her to go get a ticket, but Ally immediatly started arguing that she had seen it on the table, and then Ally’s dad yells at her to “Just do what your mom asked!” And me and Ash start looking for the ticket while Ally goes downstairs saying something about how dumb this was and how her parents were stupid or something. Then Ally’s mom pulls out a cake to which Ash and I remain oblivious, and Ally’s mom says “Geesh, what a grump,” in regards to Ally. She places the cake on the table and Ally comes up with a testy attitude about to tell her parents something along the lines of how dumb they are and the tickets weren’t downstairs but she manages to put two-and-two together, as we all have, and it’s HAPPY MONTH AND A HALF EARLY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Greetings People of Earth!!

Hello everyone! This is your trusty guide into my mind (ME) come to wish you all a very happy and joyous wednesday! I hope we are all enjoying our amazing vacations! I know I am…apart from having two brothers…whatever! They won’t be able to put a damper on my spirits! We went to the museum yesturday…nothing came to life, but that’s probably just as well, considering, to quote my brother, “Oh my goodness, Jenny, like TONS of these statues and paintings are…naked!!!” Yeah…he had a point…and watching his reactions all day when we walked into the same room as a naked statues or painting was funny…one good thing about living with an expressive eight-year-old I guess. But the Ancient Cultures Exhibits were all great, namely the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian rooms. My mom prefered the American and European rooms and the Hall of Masters. James prefered the Egyptian and Asian rooms, as well as the Exhibit on old musical instruments…which I must admit, was outstanding. Michael liked the painting entitled “Boy with Squirell” and got asked at least once to “Please not get so close to touching the art work”. The French art was slightly disappointing, there was a lot of furniture which definantly made me think of Versailles. Although it was prolly not good enough for Marie Antoinette, she prolly would have thought of it as peasant furniture. It was rather pretty though. Beautiful beds with lovely soft-looking mattresses, and it was COVERED in a lovely sky-blue silk. There was this one bed, though, that was absolutly HORRIBLE. On the head- and foot-boards there were malnourished-looking dogs made of some sort of shiny material. The shiny was a plus! :) Anyways…I have to go. I’m at my Dad’s visit and we’re going to eat at a Mexican restaurant. You all know you’re jealous… :)

Tommorrow’s TUESDAY!!!!

And I’M GOING TO THE MUSEUM!!! My Mom is taking me and my brothers to the Museum of Fine Arts. Ahh, culture. And with any luck, the paintings and sculptures will all come to life (;-)) But seriously, I am looking forward to it. The only downside: we’re taking my brothers…

Reading…

Well I was reading fanfiction and I came upon a quote that kinda made me laugh…

“You slept late, Mama,” Tarië said. “Uncle Strider’s trying to make toast.”

Halbarad shot her a look; she shrugged.

“Mama never sleeps this late unless you’re home, Daddy,” Tarië observed.

Ahhh…Sunday Part 1

Ah, it’s Sunday. The one day of my week that is always the same. Or, at least the things I do are generally the same. Yes, this is my one predictable day…well, mostly predictable. Sunday School, Church Service, Lunch,TV, Computer, House Switch, Youth Group, Computer, Bed. Today in Sunday School was part three in our three-part series on the Sabbath. I didn’t go to Church Service though, seeing as how my family is, like, all sick. :( . My poor family. Well, at least my poor men. Yeah, since I was with my Dad this week, I have been surrounded by men. Unless my Dad’s girlfriend was over, in which case there were two gals to three guys. But now I am going to be headed off to my Mom’s for a week, so there will be a Two-To-Two ratio. :) . *Evil Laugh* I am looking forward to Youth Group tonight, it’s always fun, and we’re like one big happy totally insane family. Which is pretty awesome. I kinda hope we play Mafia. Because it is sooo much fun to play at Youth Group. You’d never suspect us Church kids, wouldya? :-P ! Yeah, I am bored right now…AND NO ONE IS ONLINE! NO ONE! THEY’RE ALL TO BUSY! No, actually I don’t know why they’re not on…some of them are probably at church, others probably have lives…unlike me. *Sigh* Or maybe it’s just that I log on to AIM and everyone puts an Away message up to avoid me…I don’t know…heehee, I’m just kidding. I hope. If you do do that, why are you on my buddylist? I don’t know…hmmm…interesting where my train of thought…OOH RANDOM THOUGHT!!! Whose idea was it to make a cookbook? I mean, it was a good idea, but seriously, who was sitting around going “Hm, I think we should compile these recipies and put them in a book which we can mass produce and sell to make millions of dollars and teach the public how to cook!”? I mean, seriously! AND who was the person who discovered vanilla was edible? I mean, way back when, do you realize how life endangering it was to pick up a random plant and eat it? And what about those plants where you can’t eat a certain part, but you can eat other parts…I mean, thinnk of the trial and error sessions for THAT. “Well, here you go Charlie, if this doesn’t kill you, you can take some home to your wife and kids…ooh, that’s a nasty gasping sound you’re making Charlie…Charlie? CHARLIE?! Oh, well, no one can eat that part…you, Bill, come here and try the seeds…” I mean, COME ON! You’d have to be kinda slow to sign up for that job anyways. Which brings us to why anyone would be a poison tester. “Hey, Joe, come here and drink this. I know, I thought it smelled funny too. Well, yeah, I DID recieve quite a few death threats…hey man, are you alright? Yeah, I don’t think you’re supposed to be turning blue….or purple…ummm…hey, Joe, you still with us? Humph, glad I didn’t drink that! Could someone please get me another drink? Hey, you, Mike, come here and try this…” Ahem, PEOPLE! Why were humans so S-L-O-W? (Merry, that says slow, not slot, not slut, ok? :) ) I’m starting to think I should stop, but in the middle of a rant…? I mean should I stop? OMG THIS BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT! I am so indecisive. Anyone else really indecisive? I mean, people are like “Hey, Jenn, do you like the blue or the red?” And I’m like “Ummm…I don’t know, is there a purple option?” Like seriously, it’s a curse to be indecisive. A CURSE. Horrible, really. HAHAHAHA. I just came across a book on the bookshelf called “The Great American Chicken Cookbook”. That sounds like a cookbook for someone who is, like, scared of the culinary arts or something, anyone else thinking that? OOH, speaking of thinking, Shruthi texted me today saying not to text her and I was like “What? You can text me but I can’t text you? Huh?” And I was confused. Confused! Hahaha. Like, confuzzled! What happened to that word? I like that word, I do…manifesto. That sounds so important. Like if you say manifesto you immediatly gain social status…hmmm….

AH! THEY’RE COMING FOR ME!!!

Who you ask? The people who live in my head. No I am just kidding. Actually, my “older sister” and bestest friend and the people who live in her head. I don’t know…I am way to tired, ok? And Merry, I am sorry for dragging you into this…hm…I wonder if we still have ice cream…?

Time to save me from myself America, I am coming clean as a writer of bad fanfiction.

Oh yes, I admit it. And believe me, if you’re a friend of mine, you have fallen prey. You are most likely in at least one of my stories, and yes, it is probably horribly written. But, fortunatly for you, your names aren’t the same in the stories as in real life. But still, pity yourselves my friends. And also, I would like to put it out there that I do not, I repeat DO NOT write Mary-Sue fanfiction EVER that ends up with a character based on me or my friends falling in love with/ running away with/ marrying any traditional character. Only characters from my own imagination. Or characters based on someone I know…ok, none of you probably care. But you know what? That’s ok with me. You know why? Because half the stuff I say is gobbledy-gook anyways. So if you’ve gotten this far, it’s prolly because:

a) You didn’t know I was this…random

b) You needed a good laugh

c) You are my true friend. And if you pick this one you are probably

d) full of crap.

e) Just kidding, I love you all.

f) :)

g) I am having waaaaay to much fun with this…

h) I’m gonna stop now…before I hurt myself…

My username

Ok, I know you’re all curious. Alatáriël Pallanén is my Elvish name, and yes, I am obsessed with The Lord of the Rings, which is what could’ve possibly possessed me to go and look up my Elvish name. And just in case you were all wondering, my Hobbit name is Myrtle Knotwise of Whitfurrows, which I think is horrible, I mean if any of you are named Myrtle I am sorry, but I think that name is simply HORRID, and also you can all find your Elvish or Hobbit names by visiting: http://www.chriswetherell.com/hobbit/ or http://www.chriswetherell.com/elf/. I know you all wanted to know that so…yeah. That’s why I am alatarielthelotrluver. :-D
